The Oettinger brush manufacturer has been successfully run by Jürgen and Dieter Lessmann for 35 years. The brothers took over the family business in 1990 from their father in the third generation and have continuously developed the company since then: Regular investments were made in the most modern machines and technology in order to guarantee efficient production in Germany and to be able to compete on world markets. The products were constantly developed, optimized and new brushes were added to the range. In addition, new markets in the West and East were opened up, which contributed to the company's growth. Through these corporate developments, Lessmann has established itself as an attractive and innovative employer and trainer in the region in recent years.

In order to preare the company for the future, Lessmann expanded the management team at the beginning of last year with Ms. Cornelia Kitzsteiner in charge of sales and marketing. Ms. Kitzsteiner has been with the company for over three decades and has been sales director since 2004 - so she knows the company and the industry exceptionally well.

In the middle of this year, Dieter Lessmann will retire from active management and will become a shareholder in the future. Ms. Annamaria Weber was recruited as his successor to manage the IT, finance and human resources departments. She has been working at Lessmann since February of this year and has years of know- how and specialist knowledge in her areas. With her experience and expertise, she will be able to make an important contribution to the further design and development of the company.

Jürgen Lessmann will remain in the company as technical managing director and will continue to support technical developments, projects and new machine concepts.

"Theexpansion of the management from family members to external professionals is an important step for my brother, me and also our employees. We are pleased to have found two strong women for a seamless transition. They are not only technically competent, but they also support Lessmann's values and vision 100 percent and implement them. So the course is well set and Lessmann will continue to be a reliable employer in the future and be involved in the global market with its premium tools. And: Lessmann is and remains a state- of-the-art family business with all its advantages,” says Dieter Lessmann.
