Product Overview

PTt technology makes the manufacturing of anchorless toothbrushes simpler and offers a wide variety of design options. Just like a conventional toothbrush machine, PTt works with standard toothbrush handles with pre-cored holes as well as pre-cut filament pucks. A fiberbox with in-line endrounding feature ensures excellent product quality.

The PTt is available as a manually loaded machine or with all possible automation to reduce operator labor to a minimum, such as fiber loading systems for regular and tapered filaments, handle feeders, palletizers and so on. Outputs of up to 30 brushes/min can be reached.

With the NM machine, Boucherie has developed an extremely fast running single tool machine that is more compact, will run at a higher efficiency and will be much safer to run than the traditional vertical double headers. NM uses Boucherie’ s most innovative technology, which combines a high tufting speed with a continuously running filling tool that doesn’t stop between consecutive brushes. The machine is laid out as a compact carrousel with only 3 clamping stations, and with extremely good accessibility for maintenance and change-over. Eliminating the start/stop cycles of the main motor, and equipped with the newest generation of electronics, NM is also very energy efficient.

The Hepta-FM is a high-speed toothbrush production line with one filling tool. It runs at up to 1200 tufts per minute, combining both tufting and finishing. As a standard it is equipped with an automatic handle feeder and a triple fiber box. After filling, the toothbrushes are automatically trimmed, endrounded and cleaned before they leave the machine. The Boucherie endrounding technology ensures consistently rounded filament tips with a smooth and glossy finish. All options of the Hepta filling unit and FM-D finishing machine can be added.

FM-D is an automatic finishing machine for high-quality toothbrushes. It features a chain type construction and is available in various sizes depending on the required output and configuration. As a standard, this machine is equipped with double clamps holding two brushes per chain link.

The manual brush infeed is done in a safe and ergonomic condition, away from the moving chainlinks unlike on other machines. FM-D can be used in combination with two or three tufting machines such as Hepta to make an efficient and flexible high-output production cell.
