PA612/PA610/PA6/PA66 nylon filament can be added antibacterial and antiviral function based on customers’ different requirements.
In order to test the antibacterial and antiviral effect of Videfens™ brush filament, Tai Hing commissioned the authoritative organization to carry out the following tests.
It was found that the virus reduction rate of Videfens™ brush bristle reached 99.92% through the test of ‘ ISO 18184:2019 Determination of Antiviral Activity of Textiles’. The antiviral activity Mv=3.0 means the antiviral effect of Videfens brush fiber is excellent.
According to the ASTM E 2149-2020 and the standard test method GZF23-003904.001 for the determination of antibacterial activity of antibacterial agent, under the dynamic contact condition, the submitted sample was conducted the antibacterial experiment with 24 hours shaking contact time.
Videfens™ brush filament was placed in the environment full of Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli for 24 hours, in which the bacteria reduction rate of Videfens™ brush bristle was less than 99%.
